Although I will not be in the classroom for the 2007-2008 school year, please feel free to explore this site for updated lessons and information.

I have decided to take a leave of absence this school year to stay home and take care of my family. Not only do I want to spend time with my family, but I also would like to use this opportunity to volunteer my time to cancer awareness. Since I am a survivor of melanoma skin cancer, I would like to teach others about the harmful effects of the sun. I am working on a new website that is designed for teachers to use as a lesson resource. I would also like to travel to different schools and speak to students about skin cancer.

My goal for this site is to have a fun and positive learning environment where we all respect one another and feel comfortable learning.

This website is designed to keep everyone involved with what is going on in education. I like to think of my website as open door and open arm. Therefore, this website is just another tool for students and family to use to feel more like a part of the classroom community.
